The Covid-19 pandemic has brought uncertainty amongst many sectors and we recently updated you on what our tree surgeons are doing to keep our staff and customers safe.
You can read our full statement on corona virus and tree surgery work here, but with government guidelines changes slightly in recent weeks we wanted to reiterate what we’re doing, as well as our approach in the future.
Social Distancing
Tree surgery is a job where social distancing is practised naturally, however we are taking additional measures to ensure we aren’t coming in to contact with other people. Other than for work, our staff members are only leaving their house for essential trips and we ensure we are keeping 2m apart at all times.
As tree surgery work is carried out outdoors there is minimal risk to any of our customers, however we kindly ask that when we do visit your property that you also keep to the 2m apart guidelines. And as much as our tree surgeons would love a cup of tea, we will kindly refuse any offers for refreshments.
Cleaning
Our equipment is cleaned vigorously after each use as standard to minimise the risk of the disease spreading across trees, however we are using extra PPE to ensure we keep anything you come in to contact with, such as gates, fences and garden furniture clean. All of our tree surgeons also carry hand sanitiser and will be thoroughly washing their hands as much as possible.
Government Guidelines
Finally we are keeping up with government guidelines constantly and if anything were to change regarding our work we will be the first to let you know.
We want to thank all of our customers, old and new, as well as our staff enormously for all of your help and support during this pandemic. We’ve been able to continue our work whilst keeping everyone safe and amidst all the uncertainty we can say for sure that we’ve never been as certain about how much we love our jobs.
